What information this site collects, why, and what happens to it. Written to be readable rather than impressive.

Last updated: [DATE]

Before you publish this. It’s a solid starting point written around how your site actually works, but it isn’t legal advice and I’m not a lawyer. Have it reviewed — especially if you take payments on the site, work with clients in the EU or UK, or handle any health-related data through client projects.

Replace everything in [SQUARE BRACKETS], and delete any section describing something you don’t actually do.

Who this is

This site is operated by Studio Fifteenth LLC, trading as Studio 15th, a limited liability company registered in Florida, United States. In this policy “I”, “me” and “the studio” mean Studio Fifteenth LLC.

If you have questions about anything here, email info@studio15th.com.

What I collect

Information you give me

When you fill in the contact form or build a quote, you choose what to send. That typically includes:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your company name, if you enter one
  • What you’re looking for, your timeline, and anything you write in the message field
  • The configuration and total from the quote builder, if you used it

I ask for the minimum I need to reply usefully. Nothing on this site requires you to create an account.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, and the site you arrived from. This comes from standard web server logs and, where enabled, analytics.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for essential functions such as remembering your preferences and keeping forms working. [IF YOU ADD ANALYTICS OR ADVERTISING, DESCRIBE IT HERE AND SAY WHICH SERVICE.]

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies being blocked may stop parts of the site working.

Why I collect it

  • To reply to you. If you send an enquiry, I use your details to answer it.
  • To quote and deliver work. If we work together, I keep what’s needed to scope, invoice and deliver the project.
  • To keep the site working. Technical logs help with security, troubleshooting and performance.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations. Invoices and contracts have to be kept for tax purposes.

I do not sell your information. I do not share it for advertising. I will not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.

Who else sees it

To run the studio I use third-party services, and information passes through them. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Web hosting — [YOUR HOST], which stores the site and its server logs
  • Email — [YOUR EMAIL PROVIDER], which delivers and stores messages
  • Email sending — [YOUR SMTP SERVICE], which delivers form notifications
  • Automation — Zapier, which passes form submissions between services
  • Client management — HoneyBook, which stores enquiries, proposals and invoices
  • Analytics — [YOUR ANALYTICS SERVICE, OR DELETE THIS LINE]

I share information with these services only as far as needed to run the studio. I may also disclose information where legally required.

How long it’s kept

  • Enquiries that don’t become projects — kept for up to [12 MONTHS], then deleted
  • Client project records — kept for the length of the project and for [7 YEARS] afterwards for accounting and legal reasons
  • Server logs — kept for the period set by the host, typically a few months

Your choices

You can ask me to:

  • Tell you what information I hold about you
  • Correct anything that’s wrong
  • Delete your information, where I’m not required to keep it
  • Stop contacting you

Email info@studio15th.com and I’ll respond within [30 DAYS]. There’s no charge.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — including under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the UK and EU GDPR. [HAVE A LAWYER CONFIRM WHICH APPLY TO YOU AND ADD THE REQUIRED LANGUAGE.]

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, and I use reputable providers with their own security measures. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords, card details or anything highly sensitive through the contact form. If we need to exchange something sensitive during a project, I’ll set up a secure method.

Children

This site is meant for business use and isn’t directed at children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent me information, email me and I’ll delete it.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites. I’m not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and this policy doesn’t cover them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with an updated date at the top. Substantial changes will be flagged clearly.
